It was quite different from any other leadership initiative that I was involved in based on the fact that it helped me to identify the components of my leadership DNA first, before considering what would be required to lead others. I appreciated the fact that the learnings from this program were not limited to the workplace. It instilled in me the fact that I had a responsibility and the ability to lead at any time, in any environment where it was deemed necessary because the skills which I developed were transferrable.
The approach taken by Leaders’ Edge was simple yet very impactful and therefore the “ah ha moments” sometimes exploded out of nowhere making them unforgettable. The facilitator Joanne who ran our session demonstrated the highest level of customer focus that I have seen in a very long time. Working with us to ensure that the product being delivered matched the needs of our organization, there were no issues arising that could not be addressed. This gave me a great degree of comfort prior to the delivery of the actual training sessions, providing the confidence I needed to secure a successful outcome.
I would strongly recommend the Personal Leadership Program conducted by Leaders’ Edge in a heartbeat regardless of the industry in which you are involved. My only caveat would be to attend the session with an open mind, and be prepared to hold on to your seats for the level of honesty you will have to face as you discover some interesting elements about yourself!!
